SubSquare has made some updates to their software called Substrate. Here are the changes:
- They updated some of the tools they use to make their software.
- They made some changes to how the software calculates things.
- They added a way for people to vote on changes to the software.
- They made a change that will clear out some old information and give people back their money.

CP26 (EP): Runtime Upgrade 1016 

SubSquare has shared information about a proposal called "Renewal RWA Market rewards proposal 2022-12 (CP23)" that has been approved by OpenSquare Snapshot and a Council motion has been created.
Council Motion 51 is now live.
The proposal suggests minting 200,000 CFG into the RWA Market rewards account.
The proposal text can be found at Pinata.
Councillors are requested to vote on the proposal.

CP23 (GI): Renewal RWA Market rewards proposal 2022-12

SubSquare has passed a proposal called "Updating Tinlake Rewards Allocation".
The proposal suggests changing the Tinlake Rewards on Centrifuge.
The proposal suggests minting approximately 1,800,000 CFG into the rewards account.
The rewards rate for TIN/DROP and Asset Originator rewards will remain the same.
The values will be valid until governance proceeds with another vote.

1. Council Motion 45 and 44 didn't pass in the council due to wrong amount and not enough councillors voted on the motion.
2. The council has been asked to resubmit it as Council Motion 49, with exactly the same parameters.
3. The proposal is about minting and distributing unclaimable CFG rewards.
4. The proposal suggests minting 430 CFG into the Proxy account 4cTwGSYkbpeZn5byhuLe2MrZa22aQJ6st3HJHg7Fyx3RLg7m (set balance to 430 CFG).
5. Councillors are requested to vote at their earliest convenience.
